LiveSim Week 1: Generator Ideas

I really like games with stylized environments and let you create things. Like TownScraper and TinyGlade.

They can be classified as Tile-based, but what really caught my attention is how each tile reacts to other types of tiles. For example, Townscraper will generates garden when you surround an area with houses, and it would generate little decorations like birds and bridges when certain condition is met. So I guess there is also an element of Constraint solvers in it. (I love Storyteller by the way.)

I currently have two ideas of the generator that I might build. First is steampunk-themed clock generator, the generative elements would be cogs and the turning of gears. The easiest way of generating it would be based on parameters.

The other would be connected to my capstone? A stylized tree generator, I saw a tailer for a game (Heimer 2000) And I really love the generated image and its aesthetics in this game. But besides the colors and shape, I want the tree to be growing, and perhaps interact with each other at some point.
